November 21, 2017: The CHEP 2016 Proceedings have been published - http://iopscience.iop.org/volume/1742-6596/898
February 2, 2017: The deadline for the submission of papers to the CHEP 2016 Proceedings has been extended by two weeks. It is now end-of-day on February 20, 2017
January 20, 2017: "Slides + Audio" mp4 videos of just over half of the plenary sessions are now linked from the Indico agenda. The recordings cover Tuesday afternoon through to the end of the conference.
January 18, 2017: The submission site for CHEP 2016 papers is now open: https://chep2016.conferenceseries.iop.org/
January 10, 2017: The submission site for CHEP 2016 papers is not yet open. We will annouce the opening here and on the CHEP2016-authors mailing list as soon as the site is available.
October 17, 2016: Questions and Answers on Diversity and Bias collected during CHEP 2016 are at https://docs.google.com/document/d/14yIPUf4ddeL8CjHEQMwYc6oZ4ON8wnoQX0ZB... and also linked from the Indico agenda for the Diversity and Bias session.
October 14, 2016: The clear winner of the poll for best poster is ID 343. Effective HTCondor-based monitoring system for CMS, presented by Jean-Roch Vlimant for Balcas J, Bockelman B P et al.
October 11, 2016: Poster Competition - please VOTE (https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/HKJWZTN) for your three favorite poster numbers. Vote for three from the Tuesday session. Vote again for three from the Thursday session.
September 23, 2016: Registration is now CLOSED. Please email chairs@chep2016.org with any compelling last-minute requests.
September 19, 2016: The deadline for uploading DRAFT talks and posters is now October 3, one week before the conference.
September 15, 2016: Urgent! If you are going to withdraw an accepted Oral of Poster presentation, please do this as soon as possible. We have a waiting list for Poster presentations, and want to avoid empty slots in the Parallel Sessions. Please email chairs@chep2016.org to withdraw a presentation.
September 12, 2016: The deadline for registering for CHEP 2016 and the WLCG Workshop at the standard rate is September 16 – four days from now. A limited number of post-deadline registrations will be accepted at a cost of $950 for CHEP 2016 and $350 for the WLCG workshop.
September 12, 2016: The deadline for reserving rooms within the Marriott room block is September 16, AND the block is already almost full. If you have a reservation and will not use it please cancel it immediately (at no charge) so that the room can be made availble to other participants.

August 1, 2016: Rooms have been added to the CHEP 2016 room block at the Marriott for the nights of Saturday October 8 and Friday October 14. If you have problems reserving the rooms you need email support@chep2016.org
